April 22nd is an important day in Pennsylvania. Not only will our vote matter in the Presidential primary for the first time in decades, but all of us have a very important choice to make about the kind of person and the kind of leadership we want to see in Harrisburg.
I think we deserve a Senator that is more concerned with making our neighborhoods safe, our schools better and our government more transparent than he is concerned with egos, personalities and petty power struggles.
I believe that the First District needs a Senator who is knowledgeable on ALL of Philadelphia’s challenges - like working to create new jobs, providing affordable health care for everyone and protecting our environment – and not attempt to build unrealistic expectations.
Our next Senator should restore integrity to the office and deserve not only our respect, but also our trust.
It is time for a Fresh Start in Philadelphia, a Fresh Start in this campaign, and I’m proud to be the only candidate committed to these ideals.
